- Can I edit the tiles on my Assurance Profile?
Yes, the Assurance Profile editor gives you the functionality to edit your Security tiles.
Tiles are the individual sub-sections that contain information about your organization’s privacy, security, and compliance posture. For example - Application Security, Data Security, Access Control, Physical Security, etc.

- Can I remove the subprocessor section in my Assurance Profile?
Yes—to remove the subprocessor section from display, don’t add anything to it; keep it empty. This should automatically result in the Subprocessor section not appearing on your Assurance Profile.
- Can I hide certain sections from the display?
Yes - you can hide certain sections from your display by removing all the content from that particular section.
- How do I change the logo sizes?
While changing the logo sizes isn’t available through the SecurityPal app, you can use your native desktop photo editor app to scale the logo size before uploading it.
- How do I create another version?
If you have published a draft and want to create another version without publishing it, this is how you can do it:
- Navigate to your current Assurance Profile on the SecurityPal Application.
- On the left, under the Finalized Versions, select the version that you want to edit
- Click on the edit icon
- Name the new version of the draft and click on the ‘OK’ button.
- You will now be able to make changes to your new version.
- What is the difference between a public and private document?
SecurityPal’s Assurance Profile gives you the power to choose which documents on your Assurance Profile do you want to be public and which ones do you want to be private.
Public documents can be accessed and downloaded by anyone through your published assurance profile. The downloaded document will not have a watermark.
Private documents require approval from the customer before the requester can access/download them. Private documents (except non-PDFs) will have a watermark.
- What are the different workflows I can set up using the Assurance Profile?
There are 2 kinds of workflows that you can set up using the SecurityPal Assurance Profile.

Public Assurance Profile: This is your regular Assurance Profile webpage published on the internet. Anyone can visit this and view the information that you choose to make public. The visitor can also request access to your private documents, however, you retain the control to accept or reject the request.
- Private Data Rooms: This is a workflow that enables you to send information about your GRC posture to your prospects/customers without requiring them to submit a request form. Private Data Rooms can work even if you haven’t published a public Assurance Profile.

Note: SecurityPal also supports integration with Salesforce. Through the integration, private links can also be generated on opportunity records in your Salesforce instance.
- Can I host the Assurance Profile on my domain?
If you plan to host the Assurance Profile on your domain, SecurityPal can configure it for you. Please reach out to your assigned Engagement Manager to start the process. Please note that, as of now, we can only configure this for our premium customers.
- What are private data rooms?
SecurityPal’s Private Data Rooms help you send documents about your GRC posture to your prospects/customers without requiring them to submit a request form. You can select what documents you want to share and send them via a URL link. You can set an expiry date to these links to ensure that the access is revoked in a specific time period. When recipients download documents, they are watermarked with their contact information. To know more about private data rooms, follow this link.
- How can we hide the ‘Request Information’ section?
The ‘Request Information’ section is used by your prospects/customers to request specific documents from your Assurance Profile. You can choose to hide the section by following the steps in this article.
