Go to Salesforce AppExchange and find SecurityPal - Customer Assurance Platform (CAx)
1. Click on 'Get It Now'
If you would like to install in a Sandbox, make sure you select the "Try It Free"
option above. Clicking on "Try It Free" will redirect you in a similar flow but
will ask you which sandbox to install in.
2. Click on Install in Production
3. Confirm and Install
Check I have read and agree to the terms and conditions.
Click on Confirm and Install
4. Click on Install
Select the set of users you are installing the solution for.
5. Go to Named Credentials and Click on "SecurityPal"
6. Edit Custom Headers on "SecurityPal" Named Credentials
Here, you need to add your API Token. You can get the API token from the SecurityPal App.
Follow the 3 steps below to get your API token.
Go to the SecurityPal app
It's important that an admin in SecurityPal generates the API token.
7. Go to the SecurityPal app Settings to get the API token.
8. Click on API Settings, Click on Generate New Token
9. Copy the Generated personal access token.
Go to Salesforce to update the custom headers
After copying the token- you need to add the API token to the Custom Headers on Named Credentials.
10. Update Custom Headers on "SecurityPal" Named Credentials
Enter "Authorization" on Name. Type Bearer and paste the API token, then hit Save.
Format: Bearer {API Token}
Authorization header is Bearer aaaa-bbb-cccc
where aaaa-bbb-cccc
is their access token that they get from https://app.securitypalhq.com/settings#api
11. Go to "Permission Set Groups" and click on "SP_Standard_User_PSG"
12. Click on "Manage Assignments"
13. Click on "Add Assignments"
14. Select Users to Assign
After User Selection is complete, click on "Next" and then "Assign"
15. Edit the page layout.
Open a desired record page, then click on Edit Page.
The app can be added to the Opportunity and the Account page. You can choose to add to one or both pages.
16. Add the SecurityPal solution to the desired layout.
Drag "SecurityPal Assurance Profile", "SecurityPal New Questionnaire" and
"SecurityPal List Questionnaires" to a desired section on the page.
17. Save the Layout
Click on Save and exit the Edit page layout
If you completed the installation on Sandbox, once you have validated and tested
the workflow, you will need to return to this setup guide to reinstall on your
Production environment.
